1. Using Sempli

Sempli provides student planning, study, career, AI-assisted, calendar, and related productivity features. By using Sempli, you agree to these Terms and applicable laws.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials. You may not impersonate another person or use Sempli unlawfully.

3. Academic responsibility

Sempli is designed to support organization, studying, and learning. You are responsible for following the academic-integrity policies of your school, instructor, or institution. Sempli does not guarantee that any particular use of AI is permitted in a course.

4. AI-generated content

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You should review important deadlines, policies, academic information, career information, and other outputs against authoritative sources before relying on them.

5. User content

You retain responsibility for files, text, syllabi, assignments, and other content you provide. You grant Sempli permission to process that content as necessary to provide the features you request.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require Sempli+. Prices, billing periods, trials, and included features are shown before purchase. Payments may be handled by a third-party payment provider. Cancellation affects future billing and does not necessarily create a refund for a completed billing period except where required by law.

7. Third-party services

Sempli may integrate with third-party services such as authentication, calendar, payment, AI, hosting, and career-data providers. Availability of those integrations can depend on the third party and may change.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not interfere with Sempli's operation, attempt unauthorized access, abuse automated systems, upload malicious content, violate intellectual-property rights, or use Sempli for unlawful activity. Additional rules appear in the Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Availability and changes

Sempli may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Disclaimer

Sempli is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. It is a productivity and informational tool, not a substitute for official university systems, professional advice, or authoritative academic records.

11. Termination

Access may be limited or terminated for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security risks, fraud, or unlawful use.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as Sempli changes. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are made.
