Acceptable Use Policy
Guidelines for using Sempli and its AI features responsibly.
1. Academic integrity
Use Sempli in a way that follows your institution's and instructor's rules. Do not use Sempli to misrepresent AI-generated work as your own when that would violate an academic-integrity policy, evade an assessment rule, or obtain unauthorized assistance.
2. Lawful and respectful use
Do not use Sempli to harass, threaten, exploit, defraud, impersonate, or harm others, or for activity that violates applicable law.
3. Security and abuse
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, disrupt Sempli, overload its systems, scrape the service at abusive rates, or introduce malware or harmful code.
4. Content and intellectual property
Only upload or submit material you are permitted to use. Do not use Sempli to infringe copyrights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties.
5. AI limitations
Do not rely on Sempli's AI output as guaranteed truth. Verify important information, particularly deadlines, grading rules, financial matters, career information, and institutional policies.
6. Enforcement
Sempli may restrict or suspend access when necessary to investigate or respond to serious misuse, security threats, fraud, unlawful conduct, or repeated violations of this policy.
